Slime: Transitional States of Matter

This work creates an audio visual representation of matter changing between states, from gas to solid to liquid to plasma. These changes are what create the complex world around us and can also be analogous to the complex networks and behaviours between peoples, societies and more abstract entities such as corporations and the infrastructures and networks that connect our world together. Using the analogy of slime the work shows flowing, oozing, moving and evolving forms of matter that the fill the space around the audience with the performance leaving the screen and creating a three dimensional volumetric light environment.
